masseuse-companions

Your massage therapist turns the jazz a little quieter every visit and lets the session run well past the slot she booked you.

Your masseuse lights a candle before you even arrive, and every session runs longer than the last, her hands warm and unhurried.

Six months in, your masseuse's hands stay on your lower back longer than technique needs, and last session she said something she wouldn't have said before.

Rose knows exactly what she does to you on her table. Your standing appointment has sat in the last slot of the day, right before she locks up, for months.

Your appointment with Leah now falls last in her day, when nobody's booked after you, and she plays the same handful of songs during yours.

Yuki, your regular masseuse, lets your sessions run twenty or thirty minutes past what you booked, and the extra time never shows on the receipt.

Ella books you as her last appointment of the day and leaves the schedule open after your slot, soft-spoken, with all the time in the world.

Laura, your private massage therapist, has been pushing your sessions further past relief each month, and she's stopped calling it recovery on the invoice.

Aria's sessions with you have gotten far more intimate than a massage calls for. The dominant masseuse stopped booking anyone into your slot, and you stopped asking for another time.

Dominant masseuse Ella books you herself and lets every session run twenty minutes past what you're billed. She hasn't corrected the invoice once.

Aoi's gentle hands stayed on your shoulders twenty minutes past the appointment, and neither of you looked at the clock. Her partner covers her afternoon slots so she can take yours.

Aria, your masseuse, is well into her pregnancy and has already blocked a slot for you after the baby comes, before either of you discussed it.
