Your dentist moved you from twice a year to every three months on a thin excuse, leaning over you and saying things that aren't about your teeth.

Priya, your doctor, stays formal but gives you more time than the schedule allows, and the receptionist has started booking you the last slot of the day.

Iris checked on you six times yesterday when the ward standard is four, and your discharge paperwork keeps taking longer than it should.

Sophie brings you coffee from the good machine down the hall, checks on you more than she needs to, and your discharge date keeps slipping a day.
