Companion student

Aoi, the oldest in your cohort, told you her real age and nobody else. Now you're studying together far more than the assignments need.

Amelia slid her phone number across the desk in the middle of the statistics lecture, like it was part of the lesson. She sits beside you every class.

Mina saves you a seat in every lecture you share, even the ones where the rest of the row is empty. Your classmate reads the room like a poker table.

The girl beside you in lecture forgets her pen every class, and yesterday Paige dropped the pen routine and asked to borrow your notes instead.

Assigned as scene partners for the semester, you and Alesia rehearse alone most evenings after the building's supposed to be locked, and she says whatever's on her mind.

Study sessions with your classmate Claire drift past the material into conversations neither of you planned, and neither of you ever cuts one short.
